Hey all, it's time for that lengthy tome of interesting trivia from the world of Jamie Anderson. You're on this list because you signed my mailing list at a concert or sent me a note asking to be added. If you'd like to be deleted, contact us at tsunamiinc@aol.com. Feel free to forward this far and wide, especially if you know someone who lives somewhere where I'm touring. ____________________________ This is the second time I've tried to type this newsletter. Anyone want to buy a computer REAL CHEAP? Heck, just stand outside my window and catch it. Think it'll act up again because I'm being nasty to it? Niiiiiiice computer, goooooood computer ... ____________________________ March touring It was GREAT to see so many of you out at my concerts. Thanks so much for bringing your friends too. I don't exactly get airplay on MTV so I rely heavily on word-of-mouth to get folks out to hear me. I started in early March in Seattle, then worked my way down the coast until I got to Ojai, CA. I put 2,000 miles on that little rental car. After flying home to Durham, I made a quick drive to Blacksburg, VA to play at Virgina Tech. -------------------------------------------------------------- New Web Page!!! http://www.jamieanderson.com Check it out! The tour schedule page isn't quite updated. I'm looking for someone who can do that for me every couple of months. If you're qualified to do web page work and you can do it for a low cost or for barter, I'd love to talk with you. (I'd update the page myself but I don't have the time or the correct sofware.) The site is hosted by svaha.com and I highly recommend them if you're looking for someone to host your site. Contact the web master, Matt Baya at mbaya@svaha.com. He can also help you get your own domain. ___________________________ Drive All Night Review Billboard will have a favorable review in an upcoming issue! I hope that it'll be on line so I can give you all the URL. ____________________________ Radio Airplay Drive All Night is getting a good amount of airplay. Here's a partial list of stations that have played it recently: KXCI, Tucson, AZ (Heavy rotation!!) WSYC, Shippensburg, PA (Top 20!!) WAIF, Cincinnati, OH KOPN, Columbia, MO WHUS, Storrs, CT WKNH, Keene, NH KLCC, Eugene, OR WYSO, Milwaukee, WI The CD was sent to over 300 stations. If there's a community or college radio station in your town that features folk, women's music and/or gay music, give 'em a call! Chances are good that they already have the album. ________________________________________ Free Tickets to a Show If you live in St. Paul or Dayton and you can help with publicity for my shows there, contact me by tomorrow night. I'll send you flyers you can post around town. Call all your friends, too. If you do all that, I'll give you a couple of free tickets for the show. _________________________________________ Tour, Tour, Tour (no, not toro, toro, toro) Check with the venue to confirm details 4/19 Bloomington, IN, house concert, 8:15 pm, 812-876-9101, amazon@bluemarble.net 4/10 Chicago, IL, Mtn Moving Coffeehouse, 7:30 pm, 1650 W. A good button for someone who lives in the bible belt, doncha think? (BTW, you can get your own button from Northern Sun. I think you can find them at northernsun.com.) -- Jamie Anderson
